Welcome to Sinking Fork Elementary School!

My name is Lacey Ramirez and it is a privilege to serve as the principal of Sinking Fork Elementary School!  I am married to my husband Alex and we have 2 children-  Sariah, who attends Sinking Fork and Micah who is currently in preschool.  

Born and raised here in Christian County, I am honored to give back to the community that gave me so much as a student. I am a 2003 graduate of Hopkinsville High School and have spent my entire teaching and administrative career with CCPS.  In 2008, I  began my career as a teacher at Belmont Elementary, followed by Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary and Sinking Fork Elementary Schools. In 2018 I joined the administrative team here at Sinking Fork as assistant principal and in June 2022 I was blessed with the opportunity to become principal.  

Here at Sinking Fork Elementary we are committed to seeing each student reach their fullest potential.  Faculty and staff work diligently to meet the academic, emotional, and social needs of all children.  We take pride in forming strong home-school relationships. Parents of Sinking Fork students can expect their children to engage daily in high quality learning experiences and be prepared for success at each grade level.
